Buah Pukul Mersing was brought to Malaysia by the proprietor of SYED ABDUL RAHAMAN.
He came from the Yunnan province of China.
Syed Abdul Rahaman had two students stated on the ‘Nukil’;

2. Muhamad Yassin Bin Yunos (Pak Long Mat Yassin)
Awang Daik received his ‘Ijazah’ on January 5th, 1897 in Maharani, Muar, Malaysia.

Abdul Rahaman Bin Awang Chik (Chu Aman) is the student of the Pak Tea Mat Yassin and students to Jacob Bin Tera.
He has two ‘Guru’, one from the side of Awang Daik and Pak Teh Mat Yassin and from the other side Pak Long Bin Yakub Bin Tera.
Sani Bin Abu Samah (Pak Sani) is disciple of Isa bin Suliaman students to Pak Long.
Pak Teh Mat Yassin is also students to Awang Daik. Therefore concluded that Pak Sani also studied from both sides.
Sulieman Bin Arifin (Mat Samurai) started learning Buah Pukul at the age of 12 years old in 1959. He studied from several gurus from both sides. His first guru was Chu Aman in which he could not complete his studies with him because he had passed away. After that, he became a disciples of Jaafar B. Endut and some senior students Chu Aman Abu Bakar bin Isnin (Pak Bong) driver Mohammed Majid Hamzah Abdrahman B-Ms-Ms B Alidan Ali B Matzin (Pak Ngah Ali) was the student of Pak Mat Yassin Teh until he was awarded ‘Ijaza’ by Pak Sani on January 6, 1972 at Mersing, Johor.
